Big Bird Day

We are excited to partner with Birds Georgia on the first ever Big Bird Day at Kennesaw Mountain!

Kennesaw Mountain is a great vantage point for spotting birds during the spring migration north. Millions of birds pass through on their journey. Come on out to listen, learn and enjoy the park!

EVENT SCHEDULE

8:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Information tables around the Visitor Center.

11:30 AM “All About the Blues! Nesting, Habitat & Attracting” with Jim Bearden, “The Bluebird Guy”

1 p.m.   “Birds through my Lens – Tips and Techniques to Capture your Next Great Photo!” with Lamacus Lewis, award winning photographer

Parking at Kennesaw Mountain NBP costs $5 or display of a valid Federal Interagency pass.
