2023 First Quarter News Letter now Available

The 1st Quarter, FY 2023 edition of the Friends of KMNBP newsletter is now available at:
https://friendsofkmnbp.org/newsletters/2023/Friends_2023_1st_Qtr_web.pdf

The newsletter is published quarterly

This quarter’s newsletter includes a summary of donations for the past fiscal year – 7/1/22 – 6/30/22 (pages 8 & 9). We thank all of our donors for their support, While we did not meet our goals set for FY 2022, we did get a lot accomplished and supported the National Park Service programs for this past year.

We have established our goals for 2023 – see page 6 for our FY 23 goals and ’23 Pledge card. You can make a one-time pledge, monthly or quarterly pledge. Simply complete the pledge card and mail it in.

There are a number of activities being sponsored by the Park – check out pages 19 and 23 for details. Check out https://www.nps.gov/kemo/planyourvisit/calendar.htm for dates and times of all activities planned.

There are number of openings on the Board – see page 10. If you are interested, contact Scott Mackay at president@friendsofkmnbp.org.

If you have an article or photo(s) you would like to contribute to the newsletter, contact me at newsletter@friendsofkmnbp.org.

If at any time you wish to unsubscribe, simply click on the link at the bottom this page, and you will be automatically deleted from the distribution list. The only items that will be sent via this subscription list will be related to the Friends Of Kennesaw Mountain or to the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. The Park periodically will publish a list of events/activities they sponsor, such as artillery demonstrations, Junior Ranger programs, etc. We will distribute these as well. For example, we will distribute the August and September Events calendar via this distribution list. Or you can visit https://www.nps.gov/kemo/planyourvisit/calendar.htm to get the most current list of events/activities.

For a current status of the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield facilities as of the date of this newsletter, check page 6; otherwise see the NPS/KEMO website listed above.

The Kennesaw Mountain Trail Club also has a newsletter. If you wish to view one, check out http://www.kennesawmountaintrailclub.org/news.php. If you wish to subscribe to it as well, go to http://eepurl.com/gKjX1n and complete the form – you will be automatically subscribed to their monthly newsletter as well.
