SUMMARY:Trail Club Workday - June 2026
DESCRIPTION:Did you know that you can play a role in maintaining the trails at Kennesaw Mountain? Every 2nd Saturday of the month\, the Kennesaw Mountain Trails Club invites the public to come and help improve Kennesaw Mountain. Each month\, the location of the trail work changes. \nRecently\, the National Park Service installed a new bridge on the Kolb Farm East Trail. Before it can officially open\, a few tasks need to take place: The road/trail need to be repaired\, the smaller bridge that the new span is replacing needs to be removed\, and the abutments need to be reinforced with riprap to prevent erosion. All of these tasks will be worked on during the June 13 workday. Volunteers will meet at the parking lot at the end of Cheatham Hill Drive\, near the Illinois Monument.
